This manual kit can be used by one person to drive rods 1-2m into the ground and take soil vapour samples. The rods are driven by a 14kg slide hammer. A retractable tip on the bottom rod opens when the rods are retracted 25mm to allow in-situ gas to be sucked up through poly or Teflon® hose running inside the drive rods. A rod jack is included to allow the rods to be pulled back out of the ground.

Note: This equipment is heavy and care should be taken when operating or transporting.
